The Amphasys Ampha X30 cell analyzer marks a new era in cell analysis, simultaneously measuring cell count, cell viability, and metabolic activity. This device is based on Impedance Flow Cytometry, where an electrical field is applied in a microfluidic chip, and changes in the electrical resistance (impedance) of the fluidic medium are measured as cells pass through it. The absence of optical components minimizes setup times and maintenance. The Ampha X30 requires no dyes, markers, or incubation, providing results within minutes, including sample preparation. With three different chip sizes, it can measure a wide range of cells including bacteria, human and animal cells, algae, yeast, and others like somatic cells in milk.
